Poker players are always aware of the possibility of collusion. Collusion is when two or more players at the same table work together as a team, where they know each other's cards. They bet with this knowledge to maximize their team's profits. This is totally unfair to all other players. Collusion destroys the integrity of any poker game. Our goal is to prevent collusion and fraud and help make BugsysClub games the most honest and enjoyable on the internet. In addition to immediately responding to players' complaints about collusion and freezing accounts under suspicion, we also use sophisticated algorithms to identify, track and uncover collusion. Though not foolproof, we feel our collusion monitoring makes the integrity of BugsysClub Poker's games higher than even those played in real card rooms. Fraud Detection Fraud typically involves making a deposit via fraudulent payment methods. These events pose no threat to innocent players since these defrauding players simply use the site as a means to spend or exchange money that does not belong to them. We have several fraud detection systems -- and are continually adding to them. Once detected, fraudulent players are permanently banned from our games. Action against Collusion and Fraud BugsysClub Poker does not tolerate dishonest or fraudulent behavior. Anyone caught colluding or defrauding will be dealt with by the most severe means: Funds on deposit of any identified fraudulent player or colluder will be suspended and the funds are frozen until a resolution is reached. All information about a known colluder will be shared with other online poker sites, as well as with other gaming sites and proper government authorities, as required. BugsysClub Poker will cash chips held by innocent players who happen to win them from a cheater. However, we reserve the right to freeze chips held by players who collude with the fraudulent players -- for example, when a credit fraud perpetrator dumps chips to suspected partner or partners. Finally, if you think someone cheated in a hand, you are encouraged to immediately report the hand number and table number to CardroomManager@BugsysClub.com . Remember, online cheaters cannot "hide the evidence" by mucking their cards, as we can and will review hands which players report as suspicious. Encryption of Data and Server Authentication All communications between the BugsysClub Poker's Server and the Client program running locally on your computer are encrypted and secured under SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), the most accepted communications security system for advanced e-commerce over the Internet. Additionally your credit card information is communicated through an SSL-encrypted web page directly to certified secure credit card processors. We use the internationally accepted industry standard SSLv3/TLSv1 encryption algorithm (using 128-bit RC4 for encryption) for both the software and secure web pages. This means that your cards, your name, your address, your credit card number, your password, and everything else that goes back and forth on the internet is protected using the same level of security that banks use. Therefore, packet-sniffing by other players cannot be used to gain any sort of advantage In addition, all communications between BugsysClub Poker on your computer and our servers use public/private key encryption to assure authentication of the server. Keys are changed frequently and are different for each client program. Our client software uses Certificate Authority (CA) issued by Thawte to authenticate our servers. Their certificate key is a 1024 bit length for heightened security. Furthermore, each player's cards are sent exclusively to that particular player's computer. No other computer knows what your hidden cards are. This prevents an opponent from hacking their client software to determine your cards. Credit Card Info only to Certified Processor Your full credit card information is not stored on any BugsysClub Poker database, to protect your credit card information. In fact, your credit card info is only provided to the certified secure credit card processor at the time of any transaction using their iron clad encryption methods. Firewalls When you're connected to the Internet, your computer is linked to millions of other computers and users. If hackers can find their way into the computers of the United States Pentagon, they can probably find a way into your machine. But, if you have a firewall, they probably won't bother. Firewalls not only keep people out of your computer, but the better ones can help you detect unwanted intrusions. We use firewalls and recommend you do too. We cannot recommend any one firewall, but we suggest you check them out at www.zonelabs.com (there's a free version) or look for others at www.tucows.com. If you are behind a corporate firewall, you will need to contact your corporate IT to arrange to access port 26229. Our Players You, our players, can help, and we appreciate your help. If you observe any suspicious behavior during your game, do not hesitate to advise us by contacting the Cardroom Manager on duty or by emailing us at Support@BugsysClub.com You can also contact us directly from the table during play, by clicking the 'Contact us' button. Please include a brief description of the situation, and include hand numbers whenever possible (table numbers are also appreciated). You will remain anonymous, and we will investigate all such player reports. Also, if you have any suggestions regarding other ways to police the game, please forward them to Support@BugsysClub.com
